She looked just like her when she ran down the hallway, but he told me she was asleep.
When I was 10 years old, I woke up to my little sister, Tiffany, running down the hallway towards my brothers' room. I got out of bed and looked to the end of the hallway and saw her playing with the boy's toy trucks.

This is my 10th birthday party. I circled my bedroom which is where I saw her run passed.
I looked in the opposite direction to see my step-father playing his game on the computer and asked "why is Tiffany awake?" Looking completely confused, he asked "what?", "why is Tiffany awake?", I repeated.

My little sister, Tiffany. This picture is what the little girl looked like, Tiffany wasn't this age yet at the time of my sighting.
Still looking completely confused, he got up and walked into the room him and my mother shared. I waited. "Tiffany is asleep", he said. Confused myself, I looked towards the boys' room again and no longer saw her. There were no trucks, no Tiffany. I went back to bed.

This is a picture of my 10th birthday party. I circled the hallway, the room at the end is my brothers' room.
The next morning, I overheard conversation about the little girl that I saw the night. It seemed I wasn't the only one who had seen what looked like Tiffany up at all hours of the night. Scared, I asked about it and was told there was nothing to worry about.
Nothing to worry about still rings in my head. When I was 10 years old, Tiffany wasn't even one yet and couldn't walk, so how did she run passed my room that night?
I knew it wasn't her.
My Uncle Leo was babysitting us the night he saw her. My mom and stepdad worked an hour away, overnight, so Uncle Leo would watch us sometimes.
One of the nights he watched us, she appeared. "I thought it was Tiffany, so I rolled over and pretended she wasn't there because I knew Tiffany was in bed at the time," my Uncle recalls.
Others remember it differently but this was the story he was sticking to.

Outside of the house via Realtor.com in 2021.
My grandma and grandpa owned the house we lived in at the time, so grandma spent a lot of time there.
She has seen the little girl on multiple occasions and when she had heard I had also seen her, she decided to try and help.
"I heard that people who are unrest have problems going to the ever after, so I got Holy Water and prayed and sprinkled it in your room", she said. My grandma recalls her having blonde hair and wearing a "glittery" dress. She also said "The day I sprinkled the Holy Water, the little girl appeared snd smiled, and was gone."
I never saw her again, myself, so I can only believe that whatever my grandmother said or did, allowed this little girl to move on to the other side. We believed for a time that it was actually my brother Tyler, who died in the womb and potentially resembled Tiffany, but I still believe it was a little girl.
There will be more ghost stories to come, but this one has been with me for the last 22 years. Not just because I experienced it, but because other people did, too.
